When God is on your side.

I have a very close friend that have been laying in the hospital waiting on a heart. Well of  course it hasn't been easy. He have had some good days, and some days when he has wanted to give up. One thing for sure is he knows the Lord. He spirits has been good though this trying times.

Well this Wednesday was free at Holyland in Orlando so I decided to go to take my mind off  of worried if this going to be the day he gets a heart. It was hot out so I decided to just stay inside and see all of the plays. I never seem any of them because I was always so amazed with all the outdoors artifacts. The beautiful statues of angels gives you a calmness and peaceful atmosphere.


Well there was something about the room where the shows were held that gave a spirit of God's present being there.  There were prayer warriors there to pray with you and for you. I spend the whole day just praising God for what he has done for me and what he would continue to do for me. I was led to pray for others whom I knew were sick. Hours went by and I just kept praying. We were allowed to go to the alter and pray in between shows. The person who played Jesus came and prayed with me, because he saw that I was praying so hard.


I left there feeling very pleased with what I had done. So the next day I called me friend and he told me he was going home. I said thank you Jesus. But then I thought about it and he never mention to me that he had got is new heart. So after he settle in I asked him how did he get to go home. He answered by saying that he has Cancer. Wow! this took me for a loop. But he gives all the glory to God because if he hadn't been in that hospital waiting he won't had found out about the cancer. They caught it early so with some treatments, he will be fine.


One thing for sure if it does hurt people take there time about going to the doctors. He is glad to be home where he can rest and continue to wait on his heart. Amen

My visit to Tampa

Last week was a very sad week for me, so my girlfriend decide to get me out of the house. She likes to drive so we rode to Tampa. This is one of her favorite cities in Florida.  We drove down the coast and viewed the body of water in Clearwater. Then we remembered that we had tickets to go to the Tampa Aquarium. We have brought tickets about a month ago and forgot we had them. She likes the alligators and the sharks. Me, well I just enjoyed the many types of colorful fish. There were so many types and different colors. We saw a live show of stingrays, where you could touch them. We did a live show with the birds also. Also there were horseshoe crabs that we could touch.

Doing feeding time we watch the employees put the food out and watch the animals go for it. There were monkeys there also. All the animals knew when the food was about to be given out, because the fish where swimming near the top to get the food first. Watching the alligators get fed was so interesting. The gators kept coming  towards the lady and the other guy had to take a stick and push the gators back. This stick kept the gators  mouth closed.


Well this helped me to relax some, so I was glad she took me out of the house.

God don't make mistakes

Well it has been a week since that sweet little girl has gone back to be with the Lord. There has been many tears and pain, but that won't bring her back to us. We have to remember all the good things that she shared in so many peoples' lives. Right now she is a angel looking down on us. Saying don't cry for me, because I'm free. I will always be in your hearts. Think of me and smile at the funny things that I use to do. Keep me in your heart, and always remember me.

Life is always a learning process. We don't always see what God has for us, but it doesn't matter because he is still in charge of our daily lives. He is the one that determines if we wake up every morning. So I thank him and know that no matter what we might go thru, he is always with us. He is my comfort and my peace, when needed. So many times we have to cry out to him, but he doesn't care. Just know that storms may come over and over and over, but the sun will shine again.


I would have loved to go home to be with my friends but they know I'm with them in prayers and my heart. I will continue to call and just check in with my friends, in their time of need. They are like family to me, so any time of night or day, they know it is alright to call me. Because that's is what true family do for each other.

When people you love hurts.

There is a person whom is dearly to my heart is not doing well. His problem is his real heart. He is now waiting on a heart transplant. I am so sorry that he waited this long to tell me. I pray that he gets moved up the chart to receive one. One of the good things is that his blood type matches everyone. He is in a very good hospital. John Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland is one of the best hospitals on the East coast. He is from another country so it is hard for him to understand the ways the doctors tell him to live. For instance like don't drink a lot of water. Well he thought water was good for you.


 Water is what really sent him to the hospital. His lungs was so full of water, that he passed out. People think that when it is hot outside to hydrate yourself. Yes, if you are not retaining the water. So he drank, and drank, and drank until he passed out. Congested heart failure can take you away from here. He is a person that stays in the emergency room. So this time they knew it was more than his pacemaker being off track. He makes his weekly visit, but this time he knew more was wrong.


People sometimes cry wolf, but I know for sure he will do what ever the doctor tell him to do for now on. Life is nothing to play with. People need to really listen to there bodies. 

Churching

Sunday service was so exciting. We were in praise mode the whole service. Thanking God for what he has already done for us, and what he is going to do for us. We sang a old song about God is always on my side. It does matter where you are is he always there with you.


We broke out in dance to the music and praises, that we were giving God. When ever the Pastor started to preach, people were still praising God. So we sang so more and gave God the praise for who he is. Tears started flowing from peoples eyes and before you known it the whole church was crying. So the ushers were going around passing out tissue. As the music continue to play people kept singing and the Pastor continue to wait for a quiet time to open up.

This made the people praise and sing even more. Time was passing and before we knew it a hour had passed and the people was caught up in the spirit and couldn't stop. They tried stopping the music, but that didn't  stop the spirit.  we had to close out church with prayer, because the people wouldn't or couldn't stop thanks God for being there for them.

I had a dream that I was crying. I woke up and tried to figure out want I was dreaming about. I couldn't fall back to slept, so I decide to study. But the dream really bother me. So my girlfriend asked me to ride to Cocoa Beach with her for a couple of hours on the beach. As I got ready I notice that my eyes were very red, like I had been crying a long time. I hurried up and put some eye drops in my eyes so she wouldn't notice them. when she arrived I was already wearing my shades.  It was a nice breeze blowing, so it helped the 98 degrees weather. I went into the water for about a half of hour, letting the waves hit me. The water was nice and warm. When I got back from the water I noticed that I had a miss call from my cousin, asking me how was I doing. She began to say that she had a dream about me crying also, and that was why she was checking up on me.  Someone told me something at church yesterday that really took me for a loop. I thought  now maybe that was on my mind more that I thought. The news was very shocking, but I thought I handled it well in front of the person who told me the news. Well now it for sure that I didn't. Because I can't get it off of my mind.

What a wedding!!

Well last week I got rid of a daughter and gained a son. I have always wanted a son. I am happy that she found her Boaz. Yes, he is truly the man for her. They had a small ceremony at the lake in Maitland. This is where he grew up at so this meant something special to him. She wanted to invite just her family, and that was fine, because she wants to have a big reception at a later date. My daughter didn't want us to do anything, other then being there. So it rained at noon, and that was the time of her wedding. We waited until the rain stopped and as she walked down the sidewalk everybody was standing up, because they were tired of sitting. My daughter was mad because we were standing up and not sitting. Well this was not told to us, and we were wondering why we wasn't sitting down. People started to take pictures and video's. My daughter told people to not post any pictures of her wedding because she wanted to see all the pictures first. Well the bottom line was she told people it was a private wedding and she didn't want people to know that other people was there.
  So we where not able to show the pictures of this beautiful wedding, because we were not there.
